BrewGearCalc uses Google Analytics for aggregate traffic measurement and Amazon affiliate links. Email addresses are only collected if you submit a form.
Analytics
This site uses Google Analytics to understand which pages are read and roughly where readers come from. It sets cookies and collects data as described in Google privacy documentation. We use it in aggregate and we do not attempt to identify individual visitors. You can block it with any standard browser content blocker, and the site works normally without it.
Affiliate links
Product links are Amazon affiliate links. When you follow one, Amazon may set cookies and will know that you arrived from this site, which is how a qualifying purchase gets attributed. Amazon privacy practices are governed by their own policy, not ours.
Forms
If you submit the shopping list form, your email address is recorded so we can send you the list. If you use the contact form, your message and email address are forwarded to us so we can reply. We do not sell, rent or share either with anyone, and you can ask us to delete your details at any time through the contact page.
What we do not do
We do not run advertising networks, we do not build behavioural profiles, and we do not sell data. There is no account system on this site and no login, so there is nothing to breach.
